Theory of Mind
It is said that the mind is like an iceberg, with most of it unseen. That your conscious self makes up 25% of your mind, and your unconscious self the remaining 75%. The unconscious mind is where your memory, thoughts and beliefs are stored, and you, your conscious self, is like a rider riding a horse, riding/controlling that unconscious state. Your beliefs, actions and behaviours are automatic, coming from your unconscious self that has become conditioned over time by your society, your family, and your circles, even your own thoughts. To change your unconscious automatic self would require intervention from your conscious self to facilitate, train, to learn. Thus, to facilitate change and growth, intervention is via memory and consciousness.
